Things to watch for this game:

Chiefs nine-time Pro Bowl TE Tony Gonzalez (10,011) needs just 50 yards to surpass TE Shannon Sharpe (10,060) for the most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history. He needs just four more yards against the Broncos to become the first tight end in league annals to own 1,000 career receiving yards against three different franchises (Denver, Oakland and San Diego).

The Series
Kansas City holds a 52-44-0 (.542) all-time advantage over Denver in the 96 previous meetings between the two clubs (95 regular season, one postseason). The Chiefs own 52 wins against the Broncos and the Raiders, the club’s highest victory totals against any individual franchises. The Chiefs have won four of their last five meetings with the Broncos at Arrowhead with Denver claiming a 27-11 victory on its last trip to Kansas City (11/10/07). The Broncos swept the season series with the Chiefs a year ago for the first time since 2002. Denver also won a 41-7 decision at INCESTCO Field (12/9/07).

The Chiefs have won 13 of the last 18 regular season meetings between these two clubs at Arrowhead, including 10 of the last 13 contests. Kansas City hasn’t lost back-to-back regular season games to the Broncos at Arrowhead since dropping four straight from ‘76-79.

I think we will see a completely different Chiefs offense this game. I am looking forward to watching LJ run off left tackle for bih yards.

KC's superbowl is today. The ship is leaking lots of water but I expect a tough fought game that Denver can some how win in a place where they haven't had much success. I think Denver wins a close game around 27-24 and only because KC isn't that good of a team. If they were even a .500 team I would expect Denver to get their first loss.

Probably not, hermcuff doesn't want to show what we have stored up for the rest of the league. Besides there are other issues that hermcuff is considering respecting TG's breaking of the record.
