Let's go one step further: The director is responsible for the overall operation. The editor is responsible for the script. The teleprompter operator makes sure she can read the script off the teleprompter. And, the people on headsets operating the equipment are listening in waiting for the director to give the next cue.

Understand the NFL is responsible for the hiring process. She does lack commanding knowledge of football -- However, she does a good job reading hard copy.
