There are 38 States with 5 or more electoral votes.

Of those states, two have not had a school from their state play in either a BCS Bowl or a Final Four in the last 40 years.

Kansas has 6 electoral votes, and in the last 20 years they've been in 6 FFs and 1 BCS bowl.
