If You Had The Choice....?

Which teams HC/GM vacancy would you choose to fill?

cardken 12-30-2008 09:35 PM

I take the Jets better situation from "Jump Street". Young Offensive Line, Two good Running Backs, decent Receivers, and a solid and growing defense.Only negative would be QB Questionable. I love the Chiefs but to be honest would be a Sh@* Storm to walk into. The Jets have a faster road to success.

I think the Chiefs have the best nucleus in the league right now. Sincerely. Whoever takes that job could be the next Belicheck.

Molitoth 12-30-2008 09:37 PM

I would choose Chiefs.

great fans. great stadium. great bbq. great tradition. the media is weak compared to NY. young team. good cap room.

hmmmm

For me its the Broncos.

Great City, and ready to win in a weak AFC West. They have a good young QB, WR, and LT.

is this thread reeruned? this is a chiefs message board. who the **** do you think that most people would pick?

StcChief 12-30-2008 09:39 PM

The Chiefs young team, great situation, owner believing in "long term" approach. Not win immediately, show improvement. /homer hat firmly attached

Cleveland. In NY and Denver you would be run out of town if you didn't produce immediately.

Was just checking to see if anyone besides yourself was being objective.

Denver is without a doubt the most attractive job opening.

Franchise QB- Check
Offensive Line - Check
WR's - Check
RB's - Check

All Denver needs is a MLB, Safety, and a stud DE and they are contenders. Then take into account who the owner is in Denver and it makes it an even easier decision.

Cleveland and K.C. would both let you be average to sub-par for years before the heat came down.

Ultra Peanut 12-30-2008 10:02 PM

The Broncos have a lot of talent.

I love the Chiefs But the Denver job if I wasn't a Chiefs fan would have more appeal.

Not sure if I agree with that - I think it's KC or Denver specifically because I think both of the owners don't overreact. Look at Shanny (there 13 years) and Carl (20 years). Denver always competes and Bowlen pays better.

I freakin' hate the Broncos, but if I were a perspective coach/GM - Denver is where I would pick.

RippedmyFlesh 12-30-2008 10:10 PM

KC
and not just because I am a chiefs fan
high draft picks...cap room...patient ownership.. who wants to play with the big boys now I am hoping...rabid fan base.
Denver may be closer but anyone who follows herm is going to look like a genius compared to trying to be shanarat II
