My prediction is Gunther Cunningham.

I have a bad feeling that Pioli is going to stand pat with this group so he can be the savior next year. If they somehow miraculously turn it around he's a genius for keeping them. If they fail (again) he is the good guy who gave them every shot.

I hope I'm wrong...just a gut feeling...if he does come in and clean house then it will be a successful off-season before we even get to the draft.

Sure, but even if Herm is retained Gun still needs replaced. I loved him in the first round here, but his homecoming has been less than stellar.

No way. The greatest thing about this is to me is that Gunther finally gets canned. If not, Pioli is a douche and should be fired on the spot...

I doubt Herm is going to be retained. That said, if he is it wouldn't surprise me one bit to hear that Pioli comes in and fires Gun. Then possibly hiring his future HC canidate as DC/Asst HC to Herm. Basically setting himself and the franchise up for a promotion in the future and less drama then we would have next offseason just hunting a coach. As state above Herm would still get his chance this year and if he couldn't get it done it wouldn't IMO affect player morale because the new HC would be someone they are already familiar with! Just a thought.

My semen could tell that we went 2-14 this year and could not win more games because of defense. If Pioli keeps Guth then he's a mega douche (and he's not going to do that)
