Bidwell's V. the Hunt's

Doesn't seem fair does it?

After watching a highly intelligent football veteran like Warner, nine years removed from Super Bowl air, getting rid of the ball quickly, without mistakes and possibly the best WR in the NFL (Anquan who?), an aggressive OC who doesn't give a damn, and a defense that has snagged 12 TO's in three games, I have feelings of genuine sorrow for the KC Chiefs organization and fans. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently a pathetic organization in almost every facet and to see Bill hoisting the trophy, well I have mixed feelings... it's just not fair.

I'm a KC transplant in AZ since '84 and have closely watched the Chiefs since 1987 --I've seen every game with other KC fans in the Valley and never, ever, thought I would be comparing organizations. I was at the Cardinals first game here in Sun Devil Stadium, I was watching the news when Buddy Ryan said "You've got a winner in town" and was at the Monday night game vs. Dallas when he was run out of the stadium and out of town. I saw Bono take it to the House in Sun Devil Stadium as well. I was heckled by Cardinal fans when they finall beat KC in AZ on their way to a losing season.

I monitored the Cards through the Plummer years and even then they were the butt of the NFL --thanks mostly to the Bidwell's cheap, autocratic style of "management". Well, they got their new stadium, hosted a Super Bowl, sold a boatload of merchandise and now this...

Kudos to Wishenhunt and staff, Adrian Wilson, HoF bound Kurt Warner, Edge, and the other players who didn't listen to almost everyone in the country.

Good Luck KC, you're going to need it.

Carl and Herm did turn us into another Detroit, but they are gone. There is reason for optimism for the first time in a while.

He looked really awkward holding that, IMHO.

Congrats on the cards going to the superbowl. i can say nothing for the chiefs because yes the Cards have made it. So yes enjoy throw stones, get drunk, and have a great time. But just remember that bandwagon you are jumping on is about to be destroyed on national T.V. on feb 1st. So like i said enjoy the next two weeks. And Now you are a cards fan don't come back here in three years telling us how much you love "your" chiefs.

What's gonna happen in 3 yrs? Herm gets fired?

You know if you squinted and blurred your eyes just right when the confetti was falling you could pretend it was the Chiefs and pop a boner.

At the trophy presentation they handed the trophy to the old man
and didn't even bother talking to him -I wondered if he was capable of speech
looks like the boy is in charge now -maybe by court order

great... you've watched a lot of shitty football, congrats. I think it is a time to be hopeful about the chiefs... In my opinion. It's exciting to think about the changes that are coming... As for the Cardinals? No offense, but I think they are a fluke along the lines of Colorado Rockies from two World Series ago...

If you look at my "Join Date" you'll know I've been around here for a while, not always posting, I'm not a bandwagoner (did I mention that?). For me, the last 24 hours have been interesting.

I will pull for the Cardinal players because I think they really have something going for them right now. Will they beat the Steelers? WTHF knows?

If the Chiefs aren't in the playoffs is it OK to pull for the "home" team?

Just Checking

The boys are in charge. Bidwell doesn't do any day to day operations. He is only there in name. They were in a very similar situation by the way. They have young owners, a young, agreesive GM, and a good coach. Now allw e need is the good coach....

Did you see that shit too? Funny...

Terry Bradshaw is a real douche. Why would they send this guy with an i.q. of well below 80 on the field?
