sorry I didn't say it's a long read...but since football season is awhile away...it's something to wake your mind up with until we numb it with beer:D

The guy sounds like a cross between Hunter S Thompson and George Carlin.

that's a great sample. I have to read the rest of this book.

I found that passage incredibly humbling, depressing, then filled with some hope...but the challenge is to find that hope....I love the way he wrote it too.

World Travel; does a body and mind good.

I read half of it, I'll have to finish it later. Pretty good so far.

After finishing this read, i see the author's point. However, i feel as though he categorized EVERY American as a brain-washed media slave, and that's simply not true.

but he does point out some things we may have thought about ourselves...but never really put it in words like he has, IMO.
