Given our recent influx of n00bs on the Planet, perhaps it's time to help them out a little bit and save them from looking like...well...n00bs. Post your words of wisdom here.

My advice to n00bs? Go Away.

No, there is not a "football" forum. The Lounge is for pretty much any topic except for politics. We like it that way, and it's not going to change just because you don't like it.

Rude comments, while not necessarily encouraged, are not a bannable offense. So don't report them. The mods don't care.

Dane McCloud can be a bit of an asshole if you get on his bad side. No, he's not leaving. Get over it.

OK, those are the few that came to mind. I'll let you guys come up with the rest.

Grow a set, and if you're female then show us your BOOBS!!!!


Yes we know that certain words are misspelled...moran, genuis etc It's a tradition.

Skip Towne is the official n00b beat down member, just take what he says and say "Please Sir, may I have another?"

Oh and one more thing, anyone who has a join date of 2000 should be treated with the utmost respect!! :D

n00bs, this board can seem a harsh and intimidating environment at first but there is much goodness and value in hanging around until you get comfortable.
Should you find yourself needing a kind and knowledgeable hand to guide you thorugh the rough spots all you need do is reach out to the board care taker and friend to all n00bs, a kindly gentleman named Skip Towne.

1. You're always smarter than everybody else. Be sure to let people know that, especially the folks with lots of posts who have been here for years. Don't be phased if they seem stubborn.

2. Chiefsplanet is a large community. Often one thread isn't enough for sufficient discussion, especially when it comes to new headlines around the NFL. Repost liberally.

3. The DC forum is a good way to meet friends and have civil discussions over politics and religion.

4. Because the Chiefs are figured to be bad this year, it's a good idea to post your brilliant, wacky, ideas about resurrecting the team during the regular season. Any complicated 4-way team trade scenarios involving trading Larry Johnson and Glenn Dorsey are entertaining and welcome reads.
