We have a HC Ladies and Gentlemen!!

Congrats everybody!

Now let's get rid of the dead weight on this team and get some talent!

That's what this season is all about: Find out who stays and who goes.

Then we get some playmakers and game changers!

I definately see the team perform differently for him. they showed fire and determination. The never give up attitude is a nice change.

I agree.

Keep churning that roster.. pick the cream off the top. One good team's 54th guy might be our 36th best.

Bring 'em all in... and ship the bad ones back out.

Did we have similar threads after the Denver game in '06?

I will say this right now. Todd Haley is going to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to more glory and championships than any other Head Coach in the HISTORY of the KC Football. I say this with all due respect to Hank Stram. This new coach is a winner.

It did appeart the team played with a lot more fire today. Even when everything was going wrong they stuck with it and made a much better game of it than I thought.

I won't get to optimistic just yet Baltimore fugged themselves quite a bit.

This thread will definitely be bumped in a couple of years...

My television must have malfunctioned today. Had to be an isolated problem...

I remember them winning in SanDiego 2 years ago and playing the Colts very close in Indy (not the playoff game) as well in games the team was expected to get smoked under Herm.

Bookmark it and lets find out. two years from today bump it and we should have a good idea where the KC Chiefs are going. I will stand by my remarks one way or the other.

It is obvious to me that Haley gets a passing grade for today, and that he is a better head coach than Herm, who was really not a head coach at all, but a glorified locker room preacher. Haley's more important test comes next week against a beatable opponent.

By the way, Warner looks like a different QB without Haley there.

The Cards offense looks brutal so far.

No doubt they fought hard to win.

Either way, you've gotta give it time.

It's tough to argue with Pioli and Haley's method. Either you will work hard, and play smart, or you'll be replaced by someone else who will.

It'll take a long time to find the talent, but I can't find any fault with that philosophy.

kstater 09-13-2009 04:32 PM

I liked the effort. Then again in game 1 I would hope the effort would be there.
I did not like the play calling. I did not like whoever instructed the DB's to play 10 yards off the ball.
