Aion: Tower of Eternity MMO
 

I picked this up the other day, very polished MMO for release, but it has been out in Korea for a while. I'm only lvl 7, but I like the feel for the game even though it's very similiar to all other MMO's early on. I'm hoping once I get flight and later levels the game will set itself apart from the others.

I know there are a few MMO gamers on here, anybody check this game out?

I have been wondering about this game.

Is it dumbed down like WoW is, and like how they are making EQ2? Or is it playable, yet still challenging like Vanguard? How many people to a group? What classes are there? Is it a holy trinity of Tank-healer-CC and then sprinkle in DPS or can anyone do anything? What are the graphics like, cartoonish, or a little more realistic?

hmm, I haven't gotten that far to tell you that much

I've been playing this since Oct 5th and enjoy it. There are serious issues with bots in this game. They're all over the place! This is an instanced game with no zones to go to so I'm fighting over creatures to complete quests while macroed bots are gathering loot for gold sellers. There is a way to report them ingame, but I don't thing they pay attention. I've complained to NCSoft numerous times to ban them but I get the usual BS in a reply.

I'm up to lvl 35 with my Spiritmaster and it's been quite a grind. Hopefully there will be great rewards for working through this.

The crafting system is not bad. Everything good is at the higher levels of course and included in the grind. Creating Potions through the Alchemy craft has saved me with the amount of Mana potions I go through.

I cancelled my sub after a month, never could get into it
