Can we do anything for the Oline?
 

We all know the Oline is complete shit at this point. They should have done something to fix it in the offseason. I was just wondering if there was any other teams knee deep in decent Olineman? Could we make some trades to get us some?

I find it interesting that Jon Runyan hasn't landed anywhere.

It's a little late to do anything about the line for this season.

Still waiting on Willie Roaf to rejoin the team.

Yeah, move Ndukwe to G and start O'Callahan.

I think O'Callaghan at RT and Ndukwe at RG will help.

He might be able to teach our guys how to cheat correctly and trust me they need to learn how to cheat because they're not going to get it done with talent.

Personally i'd like to see them just get bigger on the right side and work on running the ball. O'calloghan looks to be getting his shot at RT according to Josh Looney and his blog at kcchiefs.com. Now the question is how they feel about Goff and his spot at RG and Rudy at C. Most likely they wont make moves at more than 1 spot especially since the Giants are next and their DLine is arguably tops in the league.

But ASAP i'd like to see Goff benched with Ndukwe at RG.

Also i'd like to see them maybe make a move at the TE and FB spots. Cottam isn't much of a blocker. He had a catch yesterday but needs to improve his blocking and has been inconsistant. O'Connell is a hback or motion TE. He obviously isn't ready yet. I hope they IR him like they did with Colin Brown and give him a redshirt year.

I was suprised to see Mike Cox stick around with Gailey getting the ax. Maybe i'm too harsh but i don't think he is that good other than having good hands. Mediocre blocker and too slow to have an impact on special teams coverage units.

TE/FB Casey Cramer was cut on the final cutdowns by the Titans. We worked out Leonard Pope and didn't sign him. Dan Wilcox never got signed as an offseason FA from the ravens. Otherwise the Giants and Eagles each have a FB on their practice squad that i wouldn't mind taking a chance on.

Nobody else that Runyan has visited with has gotten to serious with him either. Most likely because his inj and age plus the money he will want.

he is better off waiting for someone to go down with an injury, somebody in a desperate situation that is or hope to compete for the playoffs.

Ryan's done some good things so I'm fine with him at TE for now, but...
We could absolutely use some help at FB.

Now I'm just speculating, but could we now see Goff benched for Ndukwe. If that were to happen at least then Ndukwe wouldn't be playing out of position. If I recall he didn't do too bad for Miami last year at RG. I don't think are line could possibly be any worse if we made these moves. That's for sure. At least the Chiefs are trying some different things to see what works. Better than standing pat and doing absolutley nothing I suppose.
