Storm Chasers returns tonight on Discovery and Discovery HD

7:00 Central is a "best of" show from the last two seasons.
9:00 Central is the premiere of the 3rd season.

This dude Sean is still trying to drive his "TIV" into a tornado. It also follows the "chasing frat boys" from Oklahoma (Reed Timmer and his crew)who have their own armored vehicle called "the dominator". Tornadoes fascinate the hell out of me so I'll of course be tuning in....anybody else?

TIVO But yes there! Love storms!

I've watched every episode, especially since I'm eagerly awaiting the day Casey actually catches a tornado with his IMAX camera. We did have a "Stormchasers" IMAX film a few years back but it sucked.

Ooops, wrong thread.

I admit that I haven't watched that many episodes of this. It seems to me, though, that if the high-tech crew with the TIV would ditch their supposed "expert" leader and recruit the frat boys to put them on storms, they'd probably do a helluva lot better. The frat boys seem to have much better instincts than the high tech dude (who I believe was their mentor/teacher at one time?).

I'm sure I'll watch. I'm fascinated by tornadoes.

Love me storm chasing. One of the coolest things I've ever seen was that tornado that Mike Bettis and the Vortex 2 team caught live in WY last June. I saw the entire thing from start to finish live. It was AMAZING.
