Pollard

His stats today: 12 tackles and two interceptions

Our coaches suck ROFL When players leave the Chiefs they seem to play better for some reason

It hurt me to admit I was wrong about the awesomeness of Bernard Pollard. I think it hurts more now that I know I wasn't wrong after all.............

kstater 11-08-2009 06:40 PM

Oh hey, this is new information that still doesn't change the fact that he couldn't tackle as a Chief.

P.S - I don't blame Haley. I blame Gunther and Herm.

Pollard > the whole Chiefs secondary

BillSelfsTrophycase 11-08-2009 06:43 PM

He's no Mike Brown
[/sarcasm]

We've already had this thread. Don't get carried away. He had a good game, but he wasn't Polamalu out there. Peyton Manning had 40 passes in the first half. The Texans defense couldn't get the Colts off the field. But the Texans offense finally woke up in the 2nd half and started to control the clock. Otherwise Manning literally would've had 70-80 passes and nearly 500 yards. Pollard's INT at the end of the first half was a huge play for them though.

It helps when you have better talent around you.

Mecca 11-08-2009 06:45 PM

The Texans defense isn't exactly "good" They have some players but nothing special in that secondary...

The Colts were funny though they caught Houston in base defense and went to no huddle and basically kept peppering passes to Clark with a LB trying to cover him.

Deberg_1990 11-08-2009 06:47 PM

Its too bad Pollard isnt still here...

We would be 1-7....instead of 1-7.

i think it has potential to be good. They got some talent on D. Im a big fan of Mario Williams, Okoye. I like Dunta robinson, and Demeco Ryans and Brian Cushing are good football players. They have a lot more then the Chiefs thats for sure.
