Kennison rips LJ

Ouch.

http://twitter.com/kb_kcstar

Fmr Chiefs WR Eddie Kennison on LJ: "He won’t be remembered as the guy that had a couple 1,700-yard seasons."

More Kennison: "People will always remember Larry Johnson in Kansas City as the guy who was troubled, the guy who wasn’t a good guy."

Even more Kennison: "He wasn’t wanted in Kansas City. He was wanted in Kansas City by one guy, and that was Carl Peterson."

PS

Fmr Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil on LJ: "He is what he is. He’s a complex guy to work with."

So did Kawika Mitchell

Quote:

Via Twitter, Mitchell offered some strong comments about his former teammate, who was cut today by the Chiefs.

"LJ doesn't respect women so I have no thoughts about him really," Mitchell said. "People like that r nothing. At 1 point we were boys."

Translation: He's a complete POS as a person, but he was good at running the football(for a couple of seasons).

LJ just made twitter bigger than Drudge or CNN...

I really like Eddie, but his history isn't exactly spotless.

Slaps LJ and Carl in the face, way to go Eddie.

I think he can be trusted as a pretty good judge of character from the Chiefs' locker room over the past six years...

The difference is Eddie grew-up eventually; LJ won't...

For the past 7+ years Eddie turned his life around and it's more or less spotless. He's a different guy than he was early in his career and a great teammate.

Vermeil's post sums the guy pretty well in a pc way. Notice nobody is wishing the guy well. He is having a bad day to put it lightly. I know we shouldn't enjoy someone's misery but I just can't help myself:)
