Thursday is here again. Walter's has an update...
And even though we moved up 2 spots in the draft, everyting is the same.
All Big 12... All of the time... #3 in the first Okung Second Miller Second Stuckey Third Shipley Happy New Year! http://walterfootball.com/draft2010.php |
Everytime I see Okung's name with our pick I want to punch a baby.

Gots to go Claussen Suh Berry |
In Walter's draft scenario, what would it take for us to move up from the top of the 2nd to #29 so we could grab Cody?

Walters always kills Pioli on the Cassel acquisition:
"When the Chiefs selected Tyson Jackson over Aaron Curry in the 2009 NFL Draft, it showed me that Scott Pioli favors positional value over talent. If he follows this principle again, he'll take Russell Okung over Eric Berry if both options are available to him. Left tackle is a huge need because Pioli must protect his $63 million (million with a line through it--didn't show up with the copy/cut/paste) investment in Matt Cassel. In 13 games, Branden Albert has surrendered nine sacks and has been whistled for 10 penalties. Pioli didn't draft Albert, and the Chiefs organization doesn't have that much money invested into him (about $3 million over the next four years). Pioli can afford to draft a franchise left tackle and move Albert around in an effort to give Matt Cassel more time in the pocket. He needs to protect his investment - no matter how bad it may be." |

no way we go Left Tackle IMO, but every mock i see has us with one, Mcshay mock has us with some LT from Rutgers. We need playmakers on both sides of the ball, and Berry is almost the only way to go IMO
