A laughed my ass off through that on Saturday.

Yea I kinda felt it was one of the stronger episodes they've had in a while. Granted that's not saying much since SNL just hasn't been the same in a number of years. That being said Barkley was funnier than I thought he'd be as a host.

that was the first live SNL i'd seen in like 10 years..

What are you smoking? I want some. SNLs glory days are far behind them. Every now and then of course they'll still have a strong episode. Saturday's with Barkley was an example of this.

I just don't understand how people do not think that shit is funny. I thought that SNL was awesome.

I think you are just rooting for SNL and trying to find something that's funny. I watched it and it was pretty good, but it was crap compared to what the show used to be.

Not horrible, but not memorable. Not like the Bass-O-Matic or the Killer Bees and stuff like that.

Maybe they're getting better, though. That would be good.

One thing I noticed is that Charles Barkley doesn't memorize lines well. A cue card holder assassination would've shut the show down.
