Plans for you Tax Refund?
Yes I know I am dumb for letting the goverment use my money, blah blah blah. Moving on, those who are getting tax returns, what plans do you have for yours? I am gonna sit on mine (put it in the bank), money has been really tight and it would be nice to have an extra cushion in the bank. Plus Im sure I will end up having a catastrophe that will deplete it anyways. Anyone having any big plans for theirs?

First I need to find out if I'm actually getting one.

I'm gonna get a penis reduction surgery with my return. My lower back is fucked and I'm only 23.
|
I won't get one. Haven't had one in four years...it sucks!
|
I'm gonna put all mine towards getting this white basketball league goin.
|
Pay off my vehicle, oh yea finish paying off my court fines :D
|
I always get a refund. I always shove it in the bank.
Yeah, it's dumb to let Uncle Sam hold your money. But that $20 a week that's missing from my paycheck goes unnoticed by me. If I had it, I'd just blow it. Since I don't have it, when I get that $1000 check every February it's like a windfall. |
i'm sure mrs sec has it already spent.
gosh, i love that woman. sec |

Refund :spock: its been a while .

Put it towards my credit card.
My girlfriend works at a tax preparation place and she had a guy get > $10,000 back which is more than he had paid in due to qualifying for EIC. He spent $600 extra to get the rapid refund (next day) then went to a check casher and spent 3% to get the check cashed.(didn't even have a ****ing checking account!) Basically blew $1000 getting his taxes back and cashing the check because he couldn't wait a week. Awesome use of my tax money. EIC pisses me off. |
This will be the first significant refund I'll get in the last 6 years. I normally adjust my withholding in the Fall to eliminate my refund with a higher paycheck during the winter. This time though I'm going to qualify for the $8,000 home buyer handout, and there's no way to get that early by withholding or without paying way too much money to amend a 2008 return.
I think I'll pay off my car loan and throw the rest into stuff I still need for the house. |
