New pup

With me switching to 2nd shift (new job), the missus wanted a big dog around the house for when I'm not around.

This is Suh (she is a Nebraska fan). She is a 3 month old Akita/Lab mix that we found at the shelter.

Smart little thing... already wants to be let outside for doing her business and follows us around like she is tethered to us. lol

She is a cute ass dog. :)

freaking adorable. he's gonna be a large dog too, and akita's are extremely protective, and labs are extremely loyal. you got the perfect dog for what your wife wanted. with any luck, he'll still let you near her. enjoy.

Awesome pup. Will be a great dog for many years. Just make sure and let him know who's boss, and don't be afraid to make sure to do what it takes for him to know not to bite. Sometimes people are too soft with their dogs and they become biters because no one truly tries to stop them. Be firm and assertive with a head-strong dog, and they will be the best dogs ever.

I seriously am requesting a name change, though. Cause bad things could happen. Like what if he sucks in the NFL? Then you basically named your dog, "Sims." Think about before you commit.

this is true. the dog in my avitar i got in dec of 2006. i named him chief. not long after the chiefs imploded their team, twice. got rid of their two best players. fired everybody. and still suck. so what i have is a three year old dog who still doesn't know how to act when the chiefs score and we start cheering and jumping up and down. he barks like someone's at the door, its pretty funny.

Name the dog Husker, or Red, or Braska, or hell, name him Corn! Just not after a specific player. Its a bad idea.
