Clancy Leaves Raiders for DC Position at Cal
Per Rotoworld:
Raiders defensive backs coach Clancy Pendergast has reportedly left the team to accept the defensive coordinator job at Cal-Berkley. Pendergast, the Chiefs' defensive coordinator last season, had just joined the Raiders two weeks ago. On Jeff Tedford's staff at Cal he will replace Bob Gregory, who left for a job at Boise State. :D |
Think two weeks with Uncle Al was enough to scare him across the bay?
|
the over on all cal games next year would be a good bet
|
Wow even Pendergast won't stay with the Faid. :shake: ROFL Probably didn't want to get his jaw broke.
|
He was just there to drop off Haley's playbook.
|
Damn. The Raiders just got better. :(
|
LMAO
long live Big AL!! |

Hopefully he was there just long enough to teach Asomugha how to suck.

I love the upgrade we got and think our staff has improved but his shittiness isn't IMO what some think it is. There was even a Greg Robinson reference? What on earth deserves that. We literally did not force a team to punt in the biggest game of the season with his defense. Under Pendergast we were young and inconsistent. I hope he does well for himself at Cal. |

Robinson got fired from Super Bowl team. Clancy got fired from Super Bowl team. Chiefs hired Robinson immediately after being fired. Chiefs hired Clancy immediately after being fired. Robinson's Ds sucked ass. Clancy's (well... D singular) sucked ass. Robinson went to go coach in college after Chiefs. Clancy went to go coach in college after Chiefs. See a pattern? |

Well, that question is a huge discredit to the Chiefs. They actually won two games and had some exciting moments on offense and could have won a lot more games. Tampa, Denver, New Orleans, they were all winnable. With some luck, we could've taken 2nd place in the division. Comparing them to an 0-16 team is overkill. The correct answer? Who gives a shit? |
