Well, I've gone and done it. I now have a dog.
 

I've joined the ranks of pet owners. This is my first go around with a dog. My parents have had a bunch of dogs, but this is the first one by myself.

Mrs. Buehler445 is a dog fanatic and has been bugging me to get one since the dawn of time. She watches all the Animal Planet shows about dogs, so we finally got one.

Feel free to share any tips or training advice, since I'm a relative n00b.

Oh, and I couldn't help myself. I had to call him "Chief".

Well we were out there last weekend and My Son went with Mrs Buehler445 to Garden City to get that little dude.

Its a blue heeler with a tail, It is a squirrely little thing...

They are calling him Chief, My son and I are calling him Markief (because he looks so funny and dumb).... Also just to give Buehler445 a hard time.


Also while we were out there last Friday night staying with Buehlers445 parents, My dogs Chili (Boarder Collie) and Oreo (Aussie Shep) weren't at Buehlers445's farm 5 minutes and they found the skunk.... Chili got hammered. It was a very stinky ride home.

I have a bitch queensland heeler, and she is the best dog I have ever had. Intelligent enough to hang with me,because I don't have patience for stupid or slaphappy dogs. She only barks at strangers. She never ever barks at anything other than some dumb mthafgga that ain't where dey s'pose to be.
