this was incredible

Just got back from Florida with the family for spring break. There was this bioluminescent phenomenon going on most of the week at night. I didn't take this pic, but this is what it looked like. It was unreal. Like glowsticks in the waves. It was on the sand for a few minutes also. I googled it and it is some sort of organism (dinaflagelate) that causes it. It goes on all night. Any of you ever see this?

I saw that in Puerto Rico. They have a bioluminescent bay there and you can go for kayak rides at night to see it.

I thought we were going to hear a good story.

I've seen that in Puerto Rico. It's little organisms who get all excited and their little bodies glow. They're like tiny, little, aquatic fireflies. You can catch the glowing water in your hand. In fact, you can spread it all over your naked body and run through town in the middle of the night glowing like a naked, neon madman. Of course, that also requires Tequila.
