If you could change you're past would you?

I read a post recently that made me think...if you could go back to you're teens and apply what you know now about life in general would you?

Certainly.

Sometimes the best lessons are the ones learned the hard way. :-)

Of course. People that don't live their life w/ regrets are the ones that don't learn anything from their mistakes.

I think wisdom comes with experience, so what we learn throughout our lives or today can certainly make an impact on tomorrow...I would have made better decisions based on my knowledge I have today.

Jenson71 04-16-2010 08:33 PM

Absolutely. Without a doubt.

I have thought long and hard about this many times due to several significant things that happened in my life that were neagatives.

I eventually decided that I am mostly happy with who I am and if you change on thing in the past you may take away some of the positives.

For example my daughter was born out of wedlock and her mom and I were never married and that is a good thing. I change 1 thing before that and she wouldn't exist.

It's a slippery slope.
