So, do you like the new NFL draft format?
Personally, I love the new format. You get your first rounder in primetime... the sports jockeys talk about it all day friday... and guess who you are gonna get.
The GMs and coaches get to reset their draft boards over night. I think it will allow teams to have better drafts overall... and miss on less picks. Cool process. I wasn't sold at first, but now love it. |
I like it a lot.
|
I think it's ****ING awesome.
|
I thought it was going to suck at first....but now I actually kind of like it.
The only shitty thing is now I don't get any work done on Thursday and Friday. |
No. I HATE waiting.
|
Would like to see the whole thing moved back to Saturday and Sunday
|
I still prefer my sports shit on the weekend. Also, I wasn't ready for it to end last night, but the generated hype is kind of cool. I don't love the fact that I have to hope my boss leaves early so I can haul ass to make it home by 5 tonight. I do like the pace of the draft though.

The prime time part is fine, but, while I think it could make for a more interesting early round this evening, I really hate having a day break between the first and second rounds.
|
Do not want! I hate waiting.
|
Iits ok, but it kind of breaks the momentum. Id like to see rounds 1 and 2 back to back...but they would have to start earlier or go until 1 in the morning.
|
well lets be honest...
even when Day 1 ended we were all like ****! and wanted it to keep going (like it used to after the 3rd round) |
Like the Sat/Sun way much better.

Despite that... I find I actually like it! |
if drafting on thursdays was a rock band, it would be the Eagles.
|
I like the 1st round time being shortened from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.
I very much miss the tradition of going to the bar for breakfast and staying all day to watch the draft, talk some football with other hard-cores, and have Last Call Drivers come take me and my car home 10 hours later. |
