Royals inexplicably fail to appeal for a 3rd out in the 3rd (no tag up), allowing 2 extra runs to later score.

May 9th, 2010: On this day, Dallas Braden throws the 2nd Perfect Game in Oakland Athletics Franchise history, vs the Tampa Bay Rays.

I decided that, barring some miracle run, I no longer care about AL Central scores. So, I'll put up how well top prospects did for the day. I just took the top 9 from Baseball Prosectus, and saw who was playing today in Adv. A or higher. (I dont care how well you are doing in A or rookie ball, those are video game stats)

I like the prospect thing, thats about the only thing worth watching

It will be huge if Myers can stick at catcher.

Yeah, I looked for him. He's starting his first year in Burlington. We'll hopefully know more about him next year.

starting lineups are the same as 2 days ago. Except for Texas, which is starting their other catcher. Imagine that, a team which allows both catchers to start every week.

When you have an asset like Kendall, you simply have to utilize it to its fullest.

Sure-Oz 05-09-2010 12:33 PM

Meche says on royals pregame trey asked how he felt, more like 'i made trey my bitch and my arm doesn't hurt, well atleast today' 128 pitches is ridiculous

Jason Kendall in his last 17 games: .228/.343/.298

Great signing!

Hey Trey, there's this strange chemical, "adrenaline", in our body that can do remarkable things. It can make you temporarily ignore pain and injuries, sometimes even override the body's safety mechanisms to tear muscle in an attempt to do what the mind thinks is important. Maybe you've heard about it.

Bad average.....Power of a second grade girl......Noodle arm with JaMarcus Russell-esque accuracy.

What's not to like?

The game is delayed a few minutes because the umpires are too lazy to come out on time.
