Good dried jerky?
i like beef jerky ... also like ostrich jerky. Buffalo just seems to dissolve too fast.
Prefer spicy/pepper/really chewy type of jerky over teriyaki or sweet type. recommendations for brand? and "No" hillbilly, i'm not going out and shooting/making my own. :D |
Nothing I've ever bought in a store can touch this stuff, and they will ship it. It's not as spicy as it used to be, but still very good and has a bit of a kick.
http://ozarkbbq.com/beefjerky/index.htm It's not cheap though. |
Is there a jerky that's not dried?
:p |

Best. Beef. Jerky. Ever.

I dare anyone who's tried it to deny it's supremacy. It's a little on the pricy side, but damn. I have tried many times to recreate the quality, but I can't quite get there. Look for the "Real" Beef Jerky tab. |

Daughter just made some deer jerkey last week in the dehydrator. Turned out pretty good. If you really like jerkey I'd suggest getting one. Easy to do and you can experiment with different marinades.
