T.O. update

Per ESPN radio, T.O. was sent an offer by the Rams, but before offer was sent they stated they knew they weren't a "contending" team, but if an offer was submitted would it be taken seriously. T.O.'s camp said , "Yes." the decision is to be made in the next 24-48 hours.
At the same time T.O. is working out with Carson Palmer in California. And Palmer has been telling the Bengals front office that they "need to sign this guy."
Thought it was interesting, Carry on

TO and Chad Johnson would be awesome.

Yes, yes it would, on a couple of levels.

Send him to Cincy, so Palmer's fantasy football value shoots through the roof.

TO knows his window of opportunity to win a championship is closing. If last year in Buffalo is any indication, I believe his on field antics are going to change. Dude is a competitor and always has been. Anyone who calls out whine-ass McNabb for pussin' out in the SB has my respect.

I would take him on KC in a heartbeat! Now let the bashing begin....

KCrockaholic 07-25-2010 03:12 PM

I'd take him on KC too if he came with a big box of duct tape for his mouth and Gorilla glue for his piece of shit hands.

Mojo Jojo 07-25-2010 03:13 PM

TO and Chad 85 on the same team...Vegas has all sorts of new lines for the season...who gets upset first on camera....who is first suspended....who is first fined...the chances both miss the same game due to conduct/comments....
This could be fun.

T.O played pretty good last year with pretty shitty qbs. He takes great care of himself so he still has some gas left in the tank.

Rams receiving corp would be pretty good too. T.O, Avery, with Gilyard in the slot. Not too bad. Steven Jackson will still be the man on that offense so the pressure wont be on the qb and WRs. If the line can block...

His piece of shit hands are about to get him to the hall of fame.

He's been an over rated douchenozzel for years. He ruins team chemistry and I wouldn't want him anywhere near KC.

Sign him to an incentive laden contract that would pay him more than 5 mil per season if he meets the escalators and watch him run like a beast in the defensive backfield after the catch. I'm sure an incentive laden contract will help him focus on decreasing his dropped passes.

Hammock Parties 07-25-2010 03:16 PM

This would be a perfect fit for the Bengals because TO could be a possession receiver.

Overrated? He had thousand yard seasons in 06-07-and 08. He had a ~900 yard season last year with the ****ing Bills. The ****ing Bills. He had 700 yards in 7 games in 05. You can say that he ruins team chemistry, but you can't say he's overrated.

I don't know this for sure, but I'm willing to bet he's in the top 3 out of all receivers in TD receptions the last 4 years.

BUt TO cares more about money and winning...not focus and incentives. He will demand money up front, and then you get what you get.

He'd punch Dick Curl in the mouth before the last pre-season game
great timing to dump the Rams from the pre-season :cuss:
