Where to get a gold parking pass for Sunday?

I'm flying in from out of town with my brother on Saturday morning.

I'm staying in Independence. Is there any stores I can snag a gold parking pass from that's close to there?

What does Gold get ya?

I'm no expert on this stuff, but I believe that parking passes only come with season tickets, so you can't buy them in a store unless you're talking about scalpers. You might be able to find them on eBay or craigslist I suppose.

Why does anybody need a specialty parking pass? You're gonna walk some no matter where you park.

Is there anyway to get out of paying to park all together? Certainly there's some place to park and walk in, right?

If it's the same as Kauffman they'll stop everybody else to let you through if you've got a gold pass. It allows you to get into the stadium much more quickly.

Ride the bus. You'll pay for it, of course, but it's a lot cheaper. They'll get you up to the front pretty quickly, too. Lots of people just park on the grass outside of the stadium, too. You'd walk a ways, but it'd be free.

You can't park for free anywhere close to any stadium anywhere.

I'll be driving up from Springfield, so parking outside would be the way to go I think. I just wasn't sure if I could park on that grass out there for free. I don't mind walking, I was just curious if it was even an option. I'm an Arrowhead n00b, where exactly is the free grass at? :bong:

I never, ever paid to park when attending Seattle sporting events. I'd walk 2-3 miles and park somewhere for free. Luckily, my shit never got broken into either. :D

I wouldn't know anything about that. Nope. Not at all. You have to pay. Everybody has to pay.

I agree. But if there were anywhere free to park, it would only be about 1/4 of a mile from Monty's tailgate. In an ideal world.

I'm not saying DRU doesn't know what he's talking about, but I'd be very leery of leaving my vehicle on someone else's property without their consent. I'd rather pay the parking fee and know my car is going to still be there after the game.

2-3 miles does not fall into the category of "anywhere close".

What about state property where it says you can park but you have to be 10' from the road?
