One positive for Cassel

So far, he's performed much better in the 2nd half than the 1st half.

Cassel:

1st half: 25-50, 253 yds, 2 TD/3 INT, 53.2 rating

2nd half: 17-27, 240 yds, 2 TD/0 INT, 116.3 rating

i give him credit for simply throwing the ball to moeaki

as in literally taking a chance....Moeaki can't make the most incredible catch you'll see if the QB doesn't give him a chance

He elevates his game in the clutch.

I think the second half adjustments have had a huge impact in the success the chiefs are having thus far. Let's keep it up fellas.

GO CHIEFS 3-0 baby

He played good today. He didn't take any sacks and gave his guys a chance to make plays.

I mentioned in the chat room that Cassel is learning to throw the ball away instead of taking sacks, which is a great development.

He still overthrows and throws over the head of his receivers too often but hopefully under the tutelage of Weis, that will improve as well.

We may finally have an OC who can make some halftime adjustments...

Have I mentioned I love Weis and Crennel. I love Weis and Crennel. Especially Crennel.
I feel like I'm watching the 2001 Patriots. If Cassel plays like he did today this team could win the division. Even if they lose the next 2.

He is finally settling down. If/when he starts hitting our receivers in stride we will see things really gear up.

I just like that they seem to actually make the adjustment or have a plan B if things don't work. It just doesn't seem as stubborn of a system. But it is nice to have essentially 2 coaches that were successful OC's in the past.

Also it's nice that it seems ego was checked last year.

It will be hard to keep those guys around for a while at the rate KC is going.
