wtf??? Are we really suppose to get our ass kicked this week?
I'm thinking this game is a win if Matt Cassel doesn't **** us again.

Never underestimate the C Factor (Cassel Factor) and its ability to lose games for us

Another reason those with less than a 1000 posts can start threads...

The ESPN Sunday Countdown group loves us though. Everyone BUT Chris Carter picked us.

I think it's a clique thing to be honest.

Advanced NFL stats says it's essentially a toss-up (49% KC/51% HOU). I care about that a lot more than I do about anybody in the media's opinion.

Chiefs Will destroy the Texans.

As an uninformed n00b, what are these Advanced NFL stats and how do I find out more about them?

Rod Woodson (NFL Network) picks KC.

What's the word on T Jackson?

KC-TBB 10-16-2010 09:11 PM

3 passing td's 300+ yard day tomorrow for Cassel defense will hold Texans to 200 yards and only 1 td...fricken crystal ball is getting hazy now, sorry, I'll know more about the game after it's played tomorrow.

It's pretty dense stuff to really understand their methodology, but the basic idea is that they evaluate teams based on the results of individual plays' impact on winning the game rather than the final score. It's a subtle, but pretty dramatic difference when it comes to predictions and that type of thing.

No guarantees that it's really that much better than watching Vegas, but it's a nice, objective ranking system (and is used for all sorts of other interesting analyses on the site).

Enjoy:

I used to read through ChiefsPlanet all the time, but I stopped because of all of the ragging on Cassel. I was pretty bored tonight so I got back on and this is the first thing I pull up. Can you tell me one game that Cassel has lost this year? Last time I checked, we were 3-1 only losing a very close game against the Colts in Indy. And tell me how Cassel lost that game? Because he decides to put the ball on Bowes hands? As Elvis once said, he can't throw and catch the ball. Somebody has to step up at receiver. Cassel is doing exactly what has been asked of him. He doesn't take sacks, he doesn't throw picks, and he doesn't lose fumbles.

Get over the whole "Cassel sucks" thing. It is getting old. You probably wish they would start 0-9 Brody. Sounds like a great idea.......
