Chiefs offensive MVP nominees?
Who would your nominee be for Chiefs offensive MVP?
Once I have the nominees, the polling will begin. |

Well, it's obviously between Cassel and Charles. I vote Charles just because of his historic statistical performance and our league leading running game. Cassel sure is the heart of that offense, though, so I can see it either way.
FWIW, my buddy is a huge Colts fan but he watches all the Chiefs games with me. He insists its Cassel and it isn't close, even though Charles is probably his favorite non-Colt. |

Chris Chambers. And its not even close.

Charles by a land slide, however D Bowe should get a tip of the hat in some recognition allong with Cassel. I'd say D Bowe and Cassel have made the most improvements from last year.
I think the O-line has done a grand job. Kudos to B Richardson (exept his little melt down donks game inexcusable) he seems to have learned a great deal though. Over all the team has made strides this year that we all can be happy with. The best part is that Dustin hasn't had to punt as much this year, so his leg wont be falling off any time soon. Big relief on that part. :thumb: |
Charles is the best player (by far), but Cassel is the MVP (by far).

Cassel, Bowe and Charles......
I've got to vote Cassel though....QB is the most important position on the field and he really stepped up his game this year and the Chiefs improved dramatically. Charles had a good year last year but the wins didn't improve. The NFL is all about the QB. Posted via Mobile Device |
What do you suppose happened with Cassel and Bowe after the Colts game when they sucked so bad to the next game and the rest of the season when they became so good? Did Weis have them over for dinner and punch them both in the penis?

Our best player was Charles, no doubt about that, he did things this season that only a great selected few have done in NFL history (I'm talking ypc). And to think he did this while also sharing the load with Thomas Jones who also almost (and still can) surpass 1,000 yd mark.
However the question was most valuable player and that's Matt Cassel. We all saw what this team was like without him. Horrid. Without Matt's improvement into a very efficient QB that doesn't turn the ball over, this team doesn't win 5 games IMO. |
