Oakland Raiders are the only team since the merger to sweep their division & yet still miss the playoffs! They outscored their AFCW opponents 215-107. They beat every AFCW team at home & away. Raider's kicker missed an easy "game winning" last minute chip-shot FG vs AZ to lose by one (1) point & also inexplicably scored zero (0) TDs against the lowly 9ers to choke the division away... its a record!!

Kansas City Chiefs are the only team in NFL history to lose SEVEN (7) STRAIGHT PLAYOFF GAMES. Oh sure, they only went 2-4 in their division & were the benefactors of 2 unlikely OAK chokes to somehow get to the postseason... but still - its an NFL record for playoff futility!!! Its never happened before in the entire history of today's NFL!! Wutta season!!!

Its amazing, isn't it? Who wudda thunk it? Thats why its an NFL record. And it put the CHIEFS (seriously, the Kansas City Chiefs from Arrowhead) into the playoffs... who wudda thunk?
