We Are The Most Feared Playoff Team -VC

Most feared? Playoff field includes number of dangerous teams

Vic Carucci: Chiefs

The Chiefs have tremendous potential to keep their feel-good story alive for a few more weeks. Although they've been far stronger at home, they're built well enough to succeed in the postseason. With the NFL's best rushing attack, the Chiefs can utilize a ball-control attack anywhere to help minimize the most explosive opposing offenses and allow their own offense to be effective in the worst conditions Mother Nature can deliver. Matt Cassel is peaking at the perfect time under the guidance of Charlie Weis, who has plenty of experience calling plays in the postseason. Romeo Crennel, also no stranger to this time of year, has put together a playoff-caliber defense. And Todd Haley is smart enough to let his coordinators coach.

I dont know about all that.
Did you see Ty-rod Taylor make that one in a million play?

The Chiefs coming to town really isn't that dangerous. Assume we win, and the Colts beat NYJ...we get to go to Foxboro. Now that sounds like something that's dangerous. Not saying we aren't capable of winning though, just saying in no way are we even close to the most dangerous team unless you're talking most dangerous team to make a big upset.

Our defense is (generally) good and we have the best running game in the playoffs. That gives us a chance in any game and in any weather.

Second that.

2008 Cardinals were at about the same odds, they had two big blow out beatings right before the playoffs and no running game.

Actually, I am hoping to see the Jets beat the Colts. Then we go to Pittsburgh, Not Foxboro.

..and if we beat Pittsburgh and the Jets beat NE in that round, we would then host the AFC Championship game right?

We're going to see a lot of Charles on Sunday, and this gives me a lot of hope.

You are correct sir. Hard to imagine the Jets beating the Colts and the Pats, but it'd be more than nice to host the AFC Championship.

As for playing Pitt or NE, I can't help but wonder if having Pioli, Weiss & Crennel might not make us better suited to play the Pats (vs PITT). Now that sounds even stranger than the Chiefs hosting the AFC Championship game. :)

There should be no more 2.0 Jones to start the game. He's been a gamer, saving wear and tear on Charles, but he's looked very old the past 5 weeks or so.

All Charles, all the time on Sunday.
