Assuming we win, Foxboro or Heinz?

I'm not a coach or player, so fock off to anyone saying I may be looking past the first game, although I don't think anyone really would say this at this point.

Will you be rooting for the Colts or Jets on Saturday? We'll have our hands full with either Pittsburgh or New England. However, I kinda like the story line that would develop with our New England ties should we end up at Foxboro.

As long as the Jets are alive, we have a chance to host the AFC Championship game.

Go Jets.

good point, but I don't really see the jets winning 2 games on the road, but I guess anything can happen.

If KC is fortunate enough to advance I'd much rather see them eliminated by NE because I have a friend who is a diehard Steeler fan and I would hear about it forever.

Yeah,I might not sound real confident in our team and I'm not,I'm extatic they are where they are but also believe they're a year or two away from being serious contenders in the tournament.

Here's to me being wrong :toast:

Since I don't think the Chiefs can beat either one, I prefer the Chiefs-Patriots storyline.

I'd rather watch the Pioli Bowl

The Jets are one of the teams who could actually win out on the road.

Easy schedule, be damned! We're back in the hunt with a much improved team, still on the rise. I'm going to enjoy being back. So, it's hard for me to look beyond this game.

However,... for the sake of the thread...

I'd rather play the Steelers than the Pats. Going to Foxboro would make a better story, and a win there would be about the best New Year's present I could imagine. Both teams will be tough. New England, though, might be impossible for our team to overcome.

Rooster 01-04-2011 09:41 AM

I say New England.

The Browns beat the Pats and the Chiefs beat the Browns. Seems pretty simple to me.

TimeForWasp 01-04-2011 09:57 AM

I say the steelers. We beat them last year.

Pitt has dropped 3 at home this year, NE is undefeated. I'd rather go to Pitt.

Why, you little scamps.

Wow. Something from Brock I can agree with.

I think NE would be a more favorable matchup. Their run D isn't as stout as Pitt IMO. Secondly we have inside info on the mind of their coach; though the same could be said of Belicheck knowing Crennel/Weis's coaching tendencies as well. I think the NE game would be also a more favorable of a road game because Cassel will be much more familar with Foxboro and what to prepare for up there. Just my $0.02 and that said let's beat Crackmore before we plan for week 2 of the playoffs. :thumb:
