Thomas Jones is on another level...

There is no player in the NFL more shredded than him. Helk, probably no one in professional sports.

Gotta give some damn credit to a 32 year old running back in the NFL who has been as consistently productive as him. Give him all the credit in the world for paving the way for Charles. His work ethic speaks volumes.

Paving the way for Charles? WTF are you talking about? JC put up the same numbers this year as he did last year without Jones around.

However I do like his work ethic and hopefully that rubs off on the whole team.

Too bad all that muscle doesn't help him break tackles.

His physique is overrated when it comes to actual on the field results.

I want to know why the mods gave this damn homer thread starting privilidges?

Step away from the Kool-Aid.

Paving the way? When did Jones move to FB?

KCUnited 02-02-2011 09:59 PM

Before Jones got here, your favorite Chief was Boomer Grisby, wasn't it?

Dude's better suited as Mr. Olympia than an NFL RB at this point.

No amount of curls are gonna fix a broke dick.

bowener 02-02-2011 10:42 PM

He may be on another level physically, but he still can't make it to the 2nd level.

Amirite?

His age began to show in the second half of the season. He had tired legs.

I wouldn't call 3.7 YPC a productive year.

That and given that he's only going to get worse (not going to get better at his age), I'm done with him.

You could bring in just about any young/rookie RB and he could give you just as much if not more.

ToxSocks 02-03-2011 10:54 AM

Jeez. Why so much Jones hate? The guy is old (by NFL standards) and still productive. He has done a lot more in his career then many backs have done in the NFL and has done an excellent job at taking care of himself.

He deserves the props that this thread was intended to give him.
