Question for people who wear contact lenses

What are the most comfortable lenses you've worn? Are there any particular type that are made for sleeping in? I love to watch tv as I fall asleep, but I have to take my lenses out before I go to bed, and I can't see crap.

I refuse to sleep in mine, but for daily wear, these are incredible.

I have acuvue. I sleep in them, IDGAF. When my eyes get so ****ed up from sleeping in them, I'll get lasik.

I agree with OnTheWarpath58's opinion.

I don't sleep in mine unless I pass out. Hope that helps.

Yeah I refuse to sleep in mine as well. It's probably ok if I do it every once in a while, but my eyes feel like shit the next morning if I do. I thought maybe there is a brand that is specifically made for it.

These. I sleep in mine every other night (never two nights in a row - doc said that was fine).

I've yet to try any that would allow me to sleep in them...either on purpose or by accident. On the rare occasion I do sleep in them (even just a nap) my eyes get all watery and gummy feeling and it's just not worth it. For me. Good luck.

These are the ones I use. I'm ****ing terrible. I take them out like once a week. Err, when I remember too anyways.

Yep, I wear these every day. I take them out each night, (have glasses) and I'll wear them every day for a month even though they're weekly's. I've never had a problem.

Acuvue are the best ones out there for the money.

I sometimes sleep in mine. This time of year though I get really bad allergies, and I usually take them out, but sometimes I pass out with them in. BFD, as long as you don't do it all the time it shouldn't be a problem.

lcarus 04-07-2011 04:06 PM

Yeah I sure do wish I could afford lasik. Contact lenses themselves are expensive. Especially with the stupid federal law which requires me to get an eye exam annually or else I can't purchase lenses.

I've worn these for years but the name has changed over the years. I put them in my eyes and wear for months.

I wear gas permeables. I wouldn't recommend them with regard to comfort.
