We're in the big leagues now. Major desserts duking it out with a fork in one hand and a spoon in the other.

Chocolate Chip Cookies, No Nuts (0 Losses) vs. Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp (0 Losses)

If the cookies had nuts I'd go with the crisp. But no nuts means the cookies get my vote.

Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake (0 Losses) vs. Strawberry shortcake (0 Losses)

This is one of the best cheesecake variants, and I'm oddly ambivalent about shortcake. Cheesecake it is.

Chocolate eclair (0 Losses) vs. Banana Split Sundae (0 Losses)

I'm not a big banana split fan - haven't had one in probably 30 years - and I love eclairs. I'll side with the French.

Tiramisu (1 Loss) vs. Fudgesicles (1 Loss)

I've bagged on the tiramisu due to the coffee thing, but I'm not in the mood for a fudgesicle today. I'm diverting from my norm and voting tiramisu.

Strawberry Cheesecake (0 Losses) vs. Butterscotch sundae (1 Loss)

I feel bad for the butterscotch sundae because it seems to be drawing hard opponents every time, but it keeps hanging in there like a champ. As much as I like butterscotch sundaes, I have to go with strawberry cheesecake. Strawberry cheesecake is really hard to beat.

I tried to hard sell the Rhubarb in prior polls, but I prefer the plain kind. Don't care much for the mixing of fruits. Plus, how the hell can one vote against chocolate chip cookies?

Second one is strawberry shortcake, not cheesecake.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp - Rhubarb (and Strawberry) lovers unite!

Strawberry Shortcake - I can get a cheesecake fix later in the round. For now I'll stick with strawberries.

Chocolate Eclair - Tough decision. Two top notch desserts, IMO.

Fudgesicles - Tiramisu is good, but over-rated.

Strawberry Cheesecake - Cheesecake AND strawberries. My favorite cheesecake.

Bumping because match up #2 and #3 are very close.

Those cute little strawberry twins, rhubarb and shortcake, take glancing blows.

Eclair and banana split each take half a loss in a kissing-your-sister situation.

Fudgesicles and the bad-luck butterscotch sundae are down and out. (I'm going to miss butterscotch sundae.)
