What are your top 3 possible Free agents you'd like to see the Chiefs sign?
I'm bored and got football fever. Since it's pretty likely free agency will begin in a few weeks go on record and list your top 3 guys you'd like to see the Chiefs sign.
1. Steve Smith (NYG) 2. Micheal Bush 3. Aubrayo Franklin |
Steve Smith from NY is a solid option.
Tyson Clabo. If we had him at RT, this line would be fantastic. Quintin Mikell. Yeah I know Safety isn't a need for this team, but the combo of Mikell and Berry would be incredible. We would have the best secondary in the league, by far. Kendrick Lewis could take rotation snaps, and we could cut bait with McGraw. |
I could see the Chiefs getting by with Richardson and Albert as starters again. I agree on the safety thing as good as Lewis was I think he was kinda getting exposed at the end there. The guy avoids contact at all cost.

I don't care about anyone but Vrabel. He is a must to have back on our line.

Micheal Bush wont be a UFA he will be a RFA he has only 3 years of time in nfl.His first year he was on the non football injury list.
Michael Bush might be restricted free agent July, 5, 2011 Jul 5 4:00 PM ET Comments 36 By Bill Williamson There has been a lot of confusion on whether Oakland running back Michael Bush will be an unrestricted or a restricted free agent if players with four years of service will be unrestricted free agents once the lockout ends. Bush It has been reported that Bush will be unrestricted. However, Fox Sports reported late last week that Bush will be a restricted free agent. He was drafted in 2007, but he missed his first reason because he was on the non football injury list. He has played three NFL seasons. According to two NFL sources I spoke to Tuesday, the current expectation is, indeed, that Bush will be restricted in that scenario. Again, nothing will be official until the lockout ends and there is still a gray area, but it looks like Bush might be restricted. That would be a break for the Raiders. They want to retain Bush and they have several other free-agent issues facing them. Bush would likely be very popular as an unrestricted free agent. The restricted free-agent market rarely moves. So, if Oakland can keep the Bush-Darren McFadden running tandem intact (the Raiders had the No. 2 running attack in the NFL behind Kansas City last season), it would be very helpful in a year the Raiders could potentially lose Nnamdi Asomugha, Zach Miller and Michael Huff in addition to Robert Gallery, who has already announced he will leave as a free agent. |
Well then we better sign a nose tackle unless we want to lose to the Raiders again.
|
Yup I'd say we're going after a Nose Tackle. Looks like we offered Shaun Rogers more than New Orleans.
"Money means a lot to everyone, but for Shaun, winning and having a shot at a Super Bowl title is really important," the person close to Rogers said. "The money was pretty close, but having the best chance to win a championship was really special. The Chiefs have a pretty good young team, but they have Matt Cassell and the Saints have Brees. That is no knock on Cassel, but he ain't Drew Brees." |
Franklin
Breaston I know that's only two. |
Aubrayo Franklin - Sign him for 2 years, let him get fat. He's not going to be any worse than Ron Edwards and in those 2 years, you give Powe some time to develop (or maybe he's not the guy period). The perfect stopgap.
Eric Weddle - I like Kendrick Lewis, but Weddle's an upgrade. David Harris - Same with Belcher. Like Belcher, but Harris is better. Damn, even if there was a free agency, there's not a whole lot out there. |
Aubrayo Franklin NT
James Jones WR Tyson Clabo RT Ang |
