Cardinals waived QB Brodie Croyle, C Ben Claxton, WR Isaiah Williams, C Kris O'Dowd, FB Reagan Maui’a, OT Cliff Louis, OG Tom Pestock, RB William Powell, TE Stephen Skelton, and OT D.J. Young.
The Cardinals aren't wasting any time, paring down their roster to 53 men on the first day of cuts. Skelton, an undrafted rookie from Fordham, was John's little brother. Powell was terrible in the preseason in his battle for the No. 3 running back job. Williams should find a home on the practice squad.
