why is Berrry still listed as a starter on our active roster?

Checked it out this morning and Berry still listed as our starting safety, is there a reason behind this? Is this a typical thing to happen when someone's out for the season? Or is our depth chart just really not that important and I suck for posting this?

I thought it was strange that they haven't brought anyone in yet with the next game rapidly approaching. I'm guessing that they just make Washington active for the Detroit game while they sort out who to bring in at safety.

That out to be fun to watch.

It seems like you hear everything from somewhere else before it ever shows up at kcchiefs.com

That's what I imagined, thank you for clearing it up though.

It's all just a big trick. He's playing on Sunday.

Yeah This is what I was thinking about the whole thing. No rumors about us bringing anyone in, and berry is still listed as active. Must all be part of the elaborate plan.

I'm starting to feel that that plan is to rip the souls from the fans.

Injuries don't have to be listed until Wednesday afternoon. A web site depth chart aren't any kind of official status...just a general reference.

There's my answer, thanks!

I don't care about the depth chart. If Berry's knee is bad, IR him and get someone in there practicing for Detroit, even if it's just Langford or Price.

I guess I just assumed if they wait until wednesday to report his injury on the depth chart that's when they would put him on the ir as well, but I think we all agree with you on that one.

Josh Looney just tweeted that Reshard Langford has been resigned. After one game of watching Piscatelli they should have kept Langford anyway. Pioli still needs to release Piscatelli and sign Sharper or someone.
