I always rooted for him. Can you imagine being a power pitcher, hurting your arm and sitting in the Dr's office when he comes in and tells you that your arm is ****ed, and you won't ever pitch at the speed you did before the injury? Dude had balls to make a comeback using a whole different approach and having to pitch with precision instead of power. Not many guys could do it. I don't think I would have been able to

As someone who had this talk with the doc (when I was 16)... yeah, I can. It sucks major a$$.

Francis was never really a power pitcher, though. He always topped out around 92.
