How Often Do You Clean Your Microwave?
 

I just did it and it was pretty dirty in there. Even the little ceiling was a mess. I don't do much cleaning up around the house and wondered how often everyone else cleans up in there. Sorry if repost.

You have to clean those things?

Apparently you do. I did put some soup on 20 minutes instead of 2 minutes just now. Went to 5 before I caught it and it was boiling.

If it was up to me, that fugger would be spotless all the time. I hate having crap splattered all over the inside of it. Unfortunately, my wife and son don't share my views so once a week.

I don't even think I know what color the inside of it is.

The inside of mine is...soup...color.

You know if you people would cover your shit when it's in there, the inside would stay a hell of a lot cleaner. But just like my wife and son, you don't ****ing listen.

I cleaned mine a couple weeks ago and finished happy because I thought it wouldn't get dirty for another couple years or so. I'm not $hitting you, it was a matter of 5 days before that thing was caked again.

Just because I never clean it doesn't mean I don't cover food. I don't pretend I am perfectly clean with everything.

My room was always clean and I love taking care of the lawn/landscaping so in that way you would just love me as your son.

Some of the most revolting, vile microwaves I have ever seen have been in office lunchrooms. NOBODY ****ing cleans those things.

even when mine is clean you can see where I tried to like microwave mayo sandwhich.

After every major explosion, for sure.

Yeah, it's ****ing hopeless. I still have two teens in the house. I think I'm gonna add it to the chore list.

I think I have literally never cleaned the inside of a microwave outside of a few emergency times where something spilled or blew up in there. I do cover my food, though.
