Chiefs would be a fool to not pick him up...

ChiefsCountry 11-22-2011 03:01 PM

Chiefs should put in a claim on him. We will need a good backup/potential early season starter for our rookie QB next year.

KC_Lee 11-22-2011 03:01 PM

Won't make it past the Houston Texans.

Good backup candidate for next year. Bring him in for a look.

If Chiefs put a claim in would get him before texans

Why would a team cut the only quarterback on their roster?

We'll have a shot at him, IMO.

I don't see any of the other 4-win-or-less teams putting in a claim.

Actually, isn't there a clause that guys with X years of service just become FA's when waived? Or am I wrong on that?

DBOSHO 11-22-2011 03:04 PM

I would totally bring him in. Underrated guy.

Bane 11-22-2011 03:04 PM

At least he knows you can't throw a field goal.

Sofa King 11-22-2011 03:04 PM

Sweet. He is probably better than Cassel. I hope the front office makes this move.

It seems stupid to me too...

I seriously think Elway hates Tebow winning and knows until the NFL figures him out the fans will have his head on a stick if he pulls him.

Yes there is a rule but during the season every team can clain him first 24 hours

Q is do the Chiefs FO have the balls to put in a claim to p/up the Broncos castoff? I sure as hell would. Swallow and do what you gotta do.

See Randy Moss last year.
