Bo's 3 Round Mock

Heres the scenario we lose out which is a possibility I see Miami winning 1 if not 2 more games and Seattle is in the middle of a playoff hunt all of a sudden.

1. Indianapolis takes Luck.

2. Washington takes Barkley.

Chiefs Round 1: Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor- Obviously the biggest need on the team. I think Griffin has a high ceiling but needs to polish some things. This is the perfect pick you can bring back Orton try and go 9-7 to make the playoffs and have Griffin sit and learn.

Round 2: Michael Brewster, Center, Ohio State- Brewster will be able to start right away and replace Casey Wiegmann. With Brewster, Hudson, and Asamoah the Chiefs have the best young interior offensive line in the league.

Round 3:Chris Polk, RB, Washington- Chris Polk is one of the more underrated RB's in college football. A north/south runner who can break tackles also has a little bit of speed. He was recruited as a WR. Polk would be a nice complement to Jamaal Charles.

We'll likely win 1 more game and in your scenario, with Miami only winning 1-2 more, they will be picking ahead of us.

RG3 will not be on the board.

O.city 12-05-2011 09:50 AM

We really need the Phins to win a few more games. They are playing pretty well right now and might do it.

If we are behind some of these teams I'd be willing to trade up with say a St. Louis to get my qb if I indeed liked him enough.

Miami has 4 wins and is playing good football. They'll likely go 5-10 6-10. They beat us so we would pick ahead of them.

Head to head is not a tie breaker in draft position.

I would love if it played out like this. I love the RG3 pick, Brewster outside of Nick Mangold is one of the best centers to play at Ohio State, and I would take him in the
2nd round for sure, he could be an immediate starter. Polk is a monster as well.

Go on.........

Any mock with a QB in the first and a linemen in the second is a win in my book.

O.city 12-08-2011 09:17 PM

We need to draft our qb no doubt, then just go true fan the rest of the way thru.

Brewster will be a great center with Hudson and Asamoah we'd have the best interior line in the league.

This. I love Brewster, we might be able to get him in the 3rd actually.

Dexter Manley 12-11-2011 05:46 AM

Let me go on record saying Brewster is one of the most overrated center prospects I've ever observed. Not a great athlete, doesn't anchor well, lacks power.

The Cs from Wisconsin and Georgia are much better prospects.
