At 1:34 you can see where he comes to the brutal realization that he is a bonehead.

That is one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen, in any sport. That is on the order of running to third base after hitting the ball kind of stupid.

You know what's also kind of funny? I think the guy swatting the ball out of the guy's hand was just being a dick. You would think that his first reaction after hitting the ball out would be to go after the ball.

If the guy took a knee and the guy swatted it out, that's unsportsmanlike conduct.

you can see the returner jawing at the official about the contact. He either zoned out and didn't realize he hadn't kneeled, or was confused about the rule. In a lot of high school rules, kneeling is not required.
