Trade ammunition

I'm not sure the Chiefs have enough picks to move up in the draft so I am wondering which players, if any, we might be willing to trade to either a) move up in the draft or b) pick up someone like Bradford or Mallet.

DJ? Hali? Flowers? Be a shame to lose our defensive play-makers but I would trade all of them for Luck and maybe one or two of them for Griffin or Bradford.

So let's hear it: who is worth what in a trade? What can the Chiefs reasonably offer to (finally) get a legit QBoTF on the roster?

Matt Cassel

Matt Cassel? He's probably worth a fourth rounder at most (similar to the Jake Plummer trade). Since he isn't a QBOTF himself, he obviously couldn't be traded for one.

No to Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson

Bowe to the Rams for their 1st round pick

add in whatever extra is necessary

Rams will take a OT or WR with their first pick ... i could see them preferring a veteran WR like Bowe to help Bradford out instead of Blackmon.

Bowe + pick to Rams for 2nd pick of draft
2nd pick of draft(Rams) + our 1st(12th) + next year's 1st to Colts for Luck :D

If Rams get the 1st pick and decide to go after luck them maybe Bowe can be part of the trade for Bradford.

Bowe.

He's the most likely candidate.

I would never trade my ammunition, unless I needed to trade it for food. :-)

The OP brings up a good question, though.

I would trade our entire defense for a franchise QB.

Not sure anyone would trade for Bowe when they could just draft Blackmon. Of course, if Blackmon is off the board before Griffin, then we may have something.

Do you really think the Rams want Bradford to have to wait a couple of years for Blackmon to be ready? Bradford is already struggling.

Now maybe they sign a FA wide receiver AND draft Blackmon.

WR's take awhile to get going and have a high bust ratio even in the 1st round.

Bowe = sure thing and ready to go
Blackmon = takes at least a season to get ready and then could still bust.

Bowe > Blackmon for the immediate future

Well I wish you were the Rams' GM, because it would easily take picks in addition to Bowe not a pick to get theirs, and it would definitely include our first rounder this year

Bowe is going to ask for some big $$$. And they want to resign Lloyd.

No thanks.

You'd trade all of our stars for a "shot" at a franchise QB? I think the drafturbators have gotten to your heads.
