Right now, Obama's meeting with the Mavericks and having a short little "hooray champions" speech that Presidents always have to give for some reason. The Mavs also did a bunch of charity shit for the troops so they're getting honored for that.

I'm watching it on CNN and the anchor reports that Delonte West could not make it into the ceremony because he couldn't pass the background check.

What kinda shady shit do you have to be involved in to miss your team's White House visit?

According to CNN now, Delonte West tweeted that he wasn't allowed to participate, but the WH came out and said he could have if he wanted to.

I didn't know they performed a background search on athletes meeting the president, though. Makes sense, I guess. Although I don't like any athlete's chances against a Secret Service decal, but that's just me.

Obama and Delonte went to the same Madrasah as Obama.

Obama's crossover is better Delonte, Obama is like. Shiiiiiit get that buster and his weak handles out of here, might rub off on my game.

Considering Delonte was not on the team when they won the championship he probably shouldn't be there anyway.
