Raiders back to LA?
 

New Raiders owner Mark Davis has some new ideas about how to run the team after taking over from his father, Al Davis. Chief among them? Possibly moving the team back to Los Angeles.

"Yeah, Los Angeles is a possibility," the new Raiders owner said Wednesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "Wherever's a possibility. We need a stadium."

The Raiders have apparently discussed sharing a new stadium with fellow Bay Area team San Francisco, but their priority is remainig in Oakland and building a new stadium on their current spot. However, the allure of a stadium rumored for downtown L.A. may be the more attractive option with time as a factor.

"The timetable is yesterday," said Davis. "So that's where it is. We've got to get a stadium. We've got to get that done."

The Raiders played in Los Angeles from 1982 to 1994, where they made five playoff appearances, including two division titles.

Wonder if he's going to take a page from the old man and take millions from cities he isn't interested in moving to?

Raiders move to Los Angeles and they go from the bottom of the league in value, to Dallas Cowboys value.

It would be the smartest move IMO. That team belongs in L.A. Half their stupid ass fans think Oakland is in L.A anyway.

How close is that LA stadium to being done? Have they even broken ground yet?

no, it is the Mark davis from KC that had that strange neck issue after his pitches. You know, after all those home runs hit off of him.

They will break ground when a team is in place.

I feel sorry for anyone who lives in Oakland.

Maybe out of staters, but not anyone within Cali. Dont work like that here. Nor Cal and Southern Cal are like 2 different states really. haha

Oh, I fully expect them to be the LA Raiders again within five years.

Thank goodness for the salary cap...
