Why?
The guy is the top merch mover in the NFL, and has been since the day he was drafted. Before he ever played he was selling more merch than Peyton Manning and Aaron Rogers. Players make a lot of money on merch with their name/likeness on it.
God's anointed NFL disciple could be a back up for the rest of his career and it doesn't appear fans would care. His brand is the strongest brand ever created by an athlete.
I just... admire the hell out of that. The guy could play for peanuts as a back up QB and still retire as a millionaire based on merch sales alone.
After he retires he can just go back to trying to scare the hell out of people in 3rd world countries.
