Damn. Now who is going to coach Cassel to Greatness?

Deberg_1990 01-16-2012 03:46 PM

How old is he? Something tells me he would return in a year or two for the right $$$$

Somebody go see if KCChiefsfan50/50 is about to jump off a building.

If he's close to doing so, perhaps just a small shove would do the trick.

Murder someone who is just about to kill himself. Smart. ;)

At some point, I'd imagine these guys get burnt out on that grind. When you have several mill in the bank and you see 15 years of life to spend it or an impending heart attack at any moment I think the choice is clear.

He probably couldn't find anyone else to let him do things his way.
It always ends badly with him. Well almost always.

Faulk, Warner, Bruce, Holt and Pace was the last time Martz had a successful offense. Martz is way over-rated.

WhiteWhale 01-16-2012 04:39 PM

Nooooooo!!!!!

Man, the NFL is a more interesting place when Mike Martz is a head coach.

Martz is over-rated because he was successful with good players, and unsuccessful with bad players!

I guess that makes him just like every other coach in the entire league.

Maybe he finally figured out he sucks.

Martz ran Faulk 17 times in the Super Bowl so he could prove you can win with just passing. He forced Warner out in favor of Bulger.

Faulk wasn't a 25-30 carry back.

The biggest load he had in St. Louis in terms of carries was 2001. He carried the ball 260 times in 14 games. That averages to about 18 carries a game.

He actually averaged more carries per game under Martz than he did under DV.

You're mocking him using the same strategy that made them the #1 offense in the NFL that year.
