Anyone ever pulled a calf?
 

Holy cow, second time I have pulled my right calf muscle in the last two months. Pretty sure I tore something this time. I could literally feel something rip. I know there is nothing a doctor can do for it. I put ice on it 20 on 20 off for about 2 hrs last night and its still swollen this morning. Anyone else ever pull a calf? What did you do to get it better. I stretched a lot after the last time and thought I was good to go, guess not.

Ouch. Lots of ibuprofen. Like 800 mgs every 6 hours for about 5 days.

I thought this was a bovine birthing thread....

Haha, I have actually pulled a couple "calfs" that way also.

I woke up to a charlie horse cramp in my calf muscle yesterday morning. ****ing hurt like hell. Not a fun way to wake up.

Sometimes you even gotta use the winch...

My Dads a retired Veternarian, he's pulled more Calves than the Oakland Raiders !

First thing I thought when I saw the thread title was you replying 'no but I've jerked a hog'.

Not that I know of. But I bet there are a few posters here who have "pushed" one, if you catch my drift. ;)
